Cycnodes (Cycd.) hybrids represent the combination of Cycnoches and Mormodes. This type of hybrid exhibits the best qualities from both parents: the Mormodes is dominant for color, and the Cycnoches is dominant for shape. Previous iterations of Spotted Hornet have already received multiple AM/AOS and an FCC/AOS!  Cyc. warscewiczii 'SVO Jumbo Swan' has fantastic flower quality, while Morm. Exotic Treat (sinuata x tuxtlensis) 'SVo Orange' has amazing color.  This cross is going to have bright yellow-gold flowers with bold burgundy spotting, and the blooms will be of excellent shape and size.
