This cross represents second generation line breeding of this desirable species. The two parents were standouts, with 'SVO II' being particularly exceptional. This is a mini-Catasetum, with mature plants only 5” tall. It is very floriferous: expect 20-25 flowers 2-3 times per season. The odds of having two offerings (see SVO 10603) after not having any available for the last five years is amazing, and it will be very interesting to compare the flowers from these two offerings.
