This new mini-Catasetum hybrid has amazing potential! We can't emphasize this enough: it has the potential to be the most revolutionary Catasetum we've produced in a long time. Ctsm. denticulatum is a small plant standing only 5” tall and is very floriferous, with 15-25 flowers produced 2 to 3 times per season. Ctsm. ivaneae is a relatively new addition to our breeding program. It's a very impressive species: the small plants produce a tightly clustered inflorescence of 40 or more perfectly-arranged flowers in amazing colors. The combination of these two species holds considerable promise, both as a truly miniature, incredibly floriferous hybrid, and as a future parent. Imagine 25+ beautifully colored, purple-spotted flowers, perfectly arranged on pendulous inflorescences!
