Ctsm. Double Down (Ctsm. Chuck Taylor x Ctsm. kleberianum) 'BPYL' is named for its Black Petals and Yellow Lip. Its excellent color plus 15-17 flowers on a stem blooming twice a year make this a good candidate as a parent. Joseito's Moonlight (Ctsm. tenebrosum x Ctsm. Double Down) is the next generation of Double Down offspring, and here we are breeding it back to its parent. This back cross will reinforce the desirable and very unusual flower colors, and the tenebrosum ancestor will add in an early summer blooming season. We expect plants to flower 3 times a year.
