Hot Spot (C. Black Jack x C. Mark Jones) has lots of large flowers, up to 9 on a stem, and the flowers are peppered with fine spots accented by a red lip. Blc. Durigan (Blc. Waianae Leopard x C. Corcovado), popularized by Brazilian growers, has proven to be a vigorous grower and good bloomer. Its 5-6 large flowers are boldly spotted and well presented. With this hybrid we’re combining two different breeding lines, which should deliver vigorous plant growth. Expect sturdy stems of 5-7 densely spotted flowers with contrasting red lips during the heat of summer, right when we all need a splash of color.
