Jane Pierce (Pot. Martha Clarke x Slc. Precious Katie) produced 4-5, beautifully shaped, well-presented flowers with a unique flower color. Virginia Dickey (Slc. Pink Doll x Sl. Pole-Star) is quickly becoming a notable breeder of mini-Catts. It flowers twice a year in 3” pots and has sturdy stems holding 2-4 bright red flowers of superior form. This cross is an example of how we are reinventing mini-Cattleya breeding. This new hybrid will deliver flat flowers with wide, rounded petals in amazing, intense colors on miniature plants standing barely 6” tall, flowering in 3” pots and best yet 3-5 flowers per stem!
