Notes from the breeder:

Sometimes we like to re-make successful crosses using different parents. This time we used a tetraploid Batemaniana (C. intermedia v. aquinii x Soph. coccinea) imported from Australia. Beaufort (Soph. coccinea x C. luteola) is dominant for shape and small plant stature.  With both parents being tetraploids and sharing Soph. coccinea as an ancestor, we expect the progeny to flower very uniformly, with a high average of flower quality. The plants will be small, blooming easily in 3” pots.
