Ctsm. Karen Armstrong was the first mini-Catasetum, registered in 2011. Shortly thereafter it received the first of 8 American Orchid Society awards based on its great flower form, count and color: yellow segments covered with coalescing dark burgundy spots. This re-make uses the same Ctsm. Susan Fuchs 'Burgundy Chips' as the original grex and a line-bred Ctsm. denticulatum with an orange lip.  This is a great hybrid, and we are pleased to be able to offer it again!
