Notes from the breeder:

The flowers of Aussie Sunset (Lc. Fires of Spring x C. Gene May) have petals that are orange-red, flared yellow and tipped with red, while the lip is red with a contrasting yellow throat. Spring Fires (Lc. Fires of Spring x Lc. Fire Island) has strong upright stems carrying 5-9 red-orange flowers with darker red lips. It is proving to be an excellent parent, with dominance for color, strong stems and bloom period. I have wanted to make this cross since seeing the success of Lc. Fire Gem (Lc. Trick or Treat x Lc. Aussie Sunset). I have a good feeling about the potential here. Expect 7-9 red flowers with yellow and red flares on nice, upright stems. An excellent cross!
