Hisako Akatsuka (Pot. Honolulu Jewel x Blc. Scarlet Pokai) has sired several superior hybrids like Pot. Dream Circle and Pot. Hawaiian Prominence. It is well known to pass along its fine flower shape and color, and compact growth habit to its progeny. Very Vermillion (Pot. Paradise Rose x Pot. Lebenkreis) flowers have superb color, excellent form and size. Both of these parents have good breeding qualities, and by bringing them together, the expectation is for compact plant habit, bright red to red/purple flower color, and extra fine flower form with full-shaped darker lips. It’s gonna be good!
