One of my favorite flower color combinations is pink petals and sepals with a yellow lip. Easy to say, harder to do. Tiny Treasure (C. Porcia x L. lucasiana) has a dark pink/lavender flower with a bright yellow lip from the lucasiana. Flowers are well-presented in groups of 4-6 from plants only 6-7" tall. C. harrisoniana imparts pink flowers and yellow lips to its offspring. The cultivar ‘Volcano Queen’ is a mericlone mutation with improved flower color, size, shape and substance. Very impressive! With this cross we will see improved flower size, dark pink flower color, and a yellow lip, plus increased flower count and upright inflorescences.
