Valentine (C. loddigesii x C. warneri) is a larger plant that requires a 5-6” pot to flower at maximum potential. It blooms with 7-9 well-displayed coerulea flowers that have a yellow spot in the throat, adding a beautiful contrast to the coerulea color. Mini Blue Star (Lc. Mini Purple x Lc. Cornelia) blooms with 5” coerulea flowers and darker coerulea lips on plants just 6-7” tall. What do we expect from this cross? Improving flower count is the main objective, with the possibility for 4-5 blooms while keeping the plant size down to flower in 4” pots. This has great potential!
